Re: 2003 S-10 Extreme ABS
Need a tad bit more info here, buddy. Are there any ABS codes present? Which sides do you mean? Front, rear, left, right? I need a better description to help you.

also would cleaning the brake sensor with brake cleaner possibly clear up this problem. dont know everything that has been done to this vehicle when buying used. brakes n rotors look good no unusual wear.
Re: 2003 S-10 Extreme ABS
I'd really need to know the exact codes from the ABS system. Cleaning the sensor area usually does not help any. If it's been wrecked previously, I would definitely be looking at the wiring harness from both front wheels up to the EBCM and make sure it's good. A continuity check would come in handy here, as well. If the wiring checks ok, you could possibly have either both sensors that are bad, or even a faulty EBCM if everything on the front end checks out.
If you could get the codes posted here, I could hopefully give you a bit more information. One thing to remember, though, ABS codes are always 'C' (chassis) codes, and normally do not set 'B' (body) codes. If the scanner you are using does not support ABS, you will not be able to retrieve them properly.
