Power window, driver side 2005 Yukon not operating
Driver power window stopped working. Replaced regulator and motor. Still doesn't appear to be working. All switches on arm work except driver window. what do I do next???
Re: Power window, driver side 2005 Yukon not operating
It could be a switch problem, or you could have a wiring issue between the switch and window motor. You'd have to do some probing with a test light to see where you're losing the signal. Sometimes the wiring can break where it passes through the door to the body, since it bends there all time as you open and close the door. Other times, a wire can become chaffed or broken inside the door on a bracket or other metal part. Or, you can just have a faulty master window switch. It won't take long to find the issue if you have it apart and start checking wires.
