hi, i bought a rover75tourer 1.8 petrol 2004 as a non runner.it came with no ecu. can i buy replacement ecu kit off ebay for same car i dont know serial number for ecu.thanks harry.

I am not familiar with the rover line. ECU's generally have to be flashed to match the VIN and accessories of the vehicle. Is the kit you get off ebay flashable so it be programmed to your vehicle or are you getting a used one that seems to match your year, make and model and see if it will work?
