2002 Chevrolet Venture DVD Will Not Play

2002 Chevy Venture Warner Bros. Van. Question = I have a 2002 Chevy Venture Warner Bros Van. The DVD player will not play most of the DVDs I have (it used to). These same DVDs will play on other players. When I put a DVD in, I can hear the player spin the disc around but it will not play it. After around a minute, it ejects the disc. No picture appears on the screen (the screen remains dark). I have cleaned the lens with a DVD lens cleaner but this did not help. The player played the DVD cleaner disc with no problem. It just seems to have problems reading regular DVDs. Can you tell me what to do? Thanks

Answer:
As long as the dvd's are in good shape and not copies, then I would have to say there is a problem in the player. Possible that the read head out of alignment. Sounds like you need a new player. Copied DVD's that people make at home will not play in this machine so be sure it is an original.

2001 Chevy Venture ABS light on.
In the past I cleaned the connectors on the exterior of the vehicle which are located approximately under the driver's seat. I think these are the wheel speed sensor connectors. They were somewhat corroded, but this did not seem to correct the problem. Question:
I have a 1998 Chevy Venture. The front wipers only work on high speed. The rear wiper/washer does not work at all. All fuses are good. What can I do to fix these problems.

Answer:
These two systems are totally separate. Only high speed on the front could be a bad switch in the steering column, or a bad motor/module assembly. Testing of the inputs to the motor from the switch would be needed. A test light, volt meter and iring schematic would be needed. The rear not working at all can be the switch in the dash or the rear motor. Again, testing is needed. Just guessing at a part replacement would get expensive.
