Well, guess that wasn't the problem then, was it?

You could have a bad socket where the bulb plugs into, or a wiring problem going to that bulb if all the others work normally. Would need some checking into and inspection of the wiring and terminals.

The remote start problem is probably related to the check engine light. You will have to get the computer scanned for codes to see why the light is on.

The outside temperature not reading is most likely the actual temp sensor. It is usually located out in front of the radiator.

Dodge Caravan abs leaking fluid

Unread post by swaddell4 » Thu Jan 30, 2014 2:34 pm

I have a 98 dodge grand caravan. I had all brake lines replaced. One of the screws cross threaded and now its leaking out of abs and I have no brakes. Trying to figure out the best way to fix it myself cant afford to take it to someone. Is it possible to get rid of the abs all together and just hook brake lines together?

I cannot tell you to modify your factory brake systems without some liability issues. Have you checked into used parts?

you could look at the fluid level in your master cylinder to see if it might be low. You could check to make sure your brake lights are working in the rear of the truck. If both of those things are okay, you should have the abs scanned and see what codes are stored.
