What is the Towing Capacity on My Truck

We have a 1999 Chevy Silverado 1/2 ton 5.3 L V8 6000-7000 GVWR. We are looking to buy a truck camper weighing 2000 lbs and tow our bass boat (1979 15 ft, not sure of the weight). Too much??

You would be fine towing those items.
The transmission is capable of towing 13,500 lbs.
With a GVWR of 6000-7000, consider the truck weights about 3500 lbs, so that leaves another 3500 lbs to add, such as a trailer or boat.

what do you want to know?

where on the hub is it leaking? are all the seals in correctly?

what kind of problems are you having with the steering? is your body too far away from your steering box now?
