Starting issues

Unread post by ivanhoe » Wed Feb 04, 2015 7:02 pm

I have a 1989 Chev. Celebrity 2.8L I changed the Idle Air Control Valve & Throttle Position Sensor. I cleaned and torked everything to specs. Now it won't start. It turns over very well but doesn't act like it wants to fire. Any suggestions?

any time you have a crank-no start you need to check the basics. do you have spark, fuel pressure and injector pulse.

why did you change the parts you changed? it's not like those are maintenance items. did you have a problem that you thought they would fix?
