1991 Buick Lesabre Turn Signal Flasher Location

Unread post by Loucardi » Wed Feb 24, 2010 5:26 pm

My 1991 Buick Lesabre(one of the few that still runs), needs its turn signal flasher replaced. I understand most flashers are located under the steering column, but before I unscrew all the bolts I wanted to see if this was the location for my car. I cannot find anything online and came across this website.

Thanks,
Brandon.

Yes, it is under the drivers side of the dash. Don't remember if it is on a clip that clips to the actualt column, or somewhere close to that.
May be more toward that trim panel under the column- the knee bolster.

Car not starting in below freezing weather

Unread post by GregSmith » Tue Jan 05, 2016 9:09 am

We recently bought a 1999 Buick Park ave, the car runs great starts just fine until the temp drops below freezing. then it will not start until the weather warms above freezing. The car cranks over just fine, not a battery issue. just will not fire, dose not even act like its trying to fire.

suggest you start by getting system scanned - yes even if CEL light is off.

Cold weather starting problem I would check, ECT sensor and fuel pressure.
The sensor determines the fuel enrichment during cold start- old school would equate this to "choke" for cold start, fuel pressure if low would create problems with starting in colder temps.

PS the scan is FREE and easy- most auto parts will do it faast and free!!
