New motor overheated. Now they are telling us the motor is shot and we will need another one. Before

When i turn on my a/c and let it idle the rpm dips very low and almost shuts off until i rev it up

Reply: @Roy, When the truck is not starting, see if it has spark and fuel pressure. My guess is no fuel pressure. If no, probably a bad fuel pump

Reply: @al, If your Silverado has spark, proper fuel pressure and injector pulse, then it must have an internal engine problem. The only thing any
engine needs to run is fuel, spark and compression. Boy, that is a lot of wasted time and money trying to fix something that your have no idea how to
properly diagnose.
